"Friendly and accommodating manager but restless, uncomfortable night"
Only stayed because our caravan boiler had burst so it was an emergency visit that hadn't been planned. The walls were thin and thus every noise woke us up plus here seemed to be a noisy heating/boil... Read more

Only stayed because our caravan boiler had burst so it was an emergency visit that hadn't been planned. The walls were thin and thus every noise woke us up plus here seemed to be a noisy heating/boiler system that kept us awake. Didn't find beds comfortable at all. Manager however was very helpful with directions etc and accommodated us at the final hour of check in so we were very grateful. Reasonable rate for bed tout the eowners or breakfast was a bit steep Read less

"Wedding weekend"
We stayed only two nights. The place was nice and clean but very very cold. The heating wasn't on all weekend (not when we were in the room) and it was freezing outside -5'C. Didn't have extra blanket... Read more

the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the owners.
Dislikes:
the owners do not reside at the hotel. It would be uncomfortable/lonely if you were the only occupant/family on a given night of stay with no management in residence.

Not a dislike, more a comment?Room very warm and no control over the heating as it seemed to be on timed?Did try to switch off? Window opened but traffic noise early am disturbed sleep :0(

Hotel has a good location with own private parking. We were lucky to have a recently updated bathroom Busy road adjacent but we had a quiet room.

Everything.General impression was that it was shabby and run down,not what we expected when we booked.No refund was offered when we booked straight out without staying.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist and answer any questions we had. The breakfast was very good and fullfilling with as much much to eat as you wished.
